This Sunday evening, June 23 we Kick-Off our 2019 Vacation Bible School with supper from 5:00-6:00 pm in the Williams Building. Bible School is from 6:00-8:30 each evening beginning in the worship center for the worship rally. Sunday evening we’ll kick-off an exciting week of Bible Study, Learning, Crafts, Music, Recreation, Fun and Fellowship. Our theme this year is In the Wild: Amazing Encounters with Jesus. Our motto is Zoom in! Focus on Jesus! The theme verse for the week is John 20:31 ~ “But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” The VBS Mission Project this year is for Safe Harbor in Hickory. This is a nonprofit ministry that provides a Christ-centered community for rebuilding, renewing and recovery. The children are encouraged to bring in one or more of the following items: Toilet Paper, Bottled Water, Paper Towels, Disposable Cups, Storage Bags: sandwich, quart & gallon size, Dish Soap & Tissues.
