Advent is a time of anticipation.  We anticipate the coming of the Messiah into our world.  Advent is a time of preparation.  We prepare our hearts, our homes, and our world for the coming of the one who comes in the name of the Lord.  Advent is a time of expectation as we are looking to a God who is not distant.  Advent is the season of expressed hope, of heavenly peace, of uncontainable joy, and everlasting love.
